The agreement was that the MWCC would pay a 1/3 of the cost, the City would pay a 1/3 and we would assess a 1/3 to the property owners. The 1/3 assessment is what we are considering now. You might also note that unlike the others, due to the fact that the MWCC is offering the City a 17 year 4% payback of the expenses that we own, we are passing that along to the property owners as a recommendation as to what we would then charge them. According to the development agreement a portion will be paid by the City and a portion by the landowner. The parcel will be assessed for $34,963.01 over a 17 years period at a 4% rate with the 30 day prepayment provision. P-82-21, P-82-22 AND P-82-32 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: 1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially assessed at this time for Consolidated Improvements No. P-82-21, P-82-22 and P-82-32 against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby has been duly calculated upon the basis of bene- fits, without regard to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and notice has been duly mailed and published, as required by law, that this Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objections, if any, and said proposed assessment has at all times since its filing been open for public inspection, and an oppor- tunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessments.
