All sixth, seventh and eighth grade students are eligible to participate by submitting one <br />entry, <br />2. Essays may be from one to three pages in length. <br />3. Essay topic: <br />Compare and contrast the human rights that young people of your age in your <br />community night tale for granted that may not he as readily available to young <br />people in other areas of the United States or around the world,, <br />Reference the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the <br />United States Bill of lights or the Minnesota Human lights Pict. <br />4. Completc and attach an official 2011-2012 entry form to the back of the essay. Entry <br />forms from past years will not be accepted, Forms must be complete and legible <br />Only students and teachers whose essays are selected for First, Second and Third Prize <br />or Honorable Mention will be contacted. <br />5. Entry deadline: November 4, 2011 <br />
