<br />b. improve water quality, <br />c. prevent flooding and erosion from surface flows, <br />d. promote ground--water recharge, <br />e. protect and enhance fish and wildlife habitat and water recreational <br />facilities, and <br />f. secure the other benefits associated with the proper management of <br />surface water within the Central Ramsey Watershed. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a joint powers agreement has been prepared which establishes the <br />Central Ramsey Water Management Organization. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville approves the joint powers <br />agreement with the Cities of Falcon Heights, Maplewood, and St. Paul, <br />Minnesota, to establish the Central Ramsey Stormwater Management Organization, <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager and the City Mayor are authorized <br />to sign said agreement in behalf of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Franke , and upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted in favor thereof: All present; <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA ) <br />) ss <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the vpdersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Manager of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that <br />I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a <br />regular meeting of said City Council held on the 25th day of February, 1985, <br />with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true <br />and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to the signing of <br />a joint powers agreement between the Cities of Falcon Heights.
