"Agreement" means this agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. "Board" means the Board of Directors created by Article III. <br /> <br />Section 4. "Director" means a director or alternate director appointed under Articie III of this <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Section 5. "Governing body" meâns the City COüncil or other goverr-Jng body of â member. <br /> <br />Section 6. "Governmental unit" means a home rule city, a statutory city, a housing and <br />redevelopment authority, or an economic development authority. <br /> <br />Section 7. "Members" means a governmental unit which is a party to this agreement and is in <br />compliance with and in good standing under this agreement. <br /> <br />Section 8. The 135W Corridor Coalition means the organization established by this agreement. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV. MEMBERSHIP <br /> <br />Section 1. Any governmental unit bordering the I35W Corridor, north of and including Minneapolis, <br />is eligible to be a member of the I35W Corridor Coalition. <br /> <br />Section 2. The initial members of the 135W Corridor Coalition are the cities of Arden Hills, Blaine, <br />Minneapolis, Mounds View, New Brighton, Roseville, and Shoreview. <br /> <br />Section'1 A povernmental unit other than initial members desirin!.! to be a member of the I35W <br />---------. --c--------------- ---- ------ ------------------------- ---------Q -- - - ------------- -- ------ <br /> <br />Corridor Coalition may do so by executing and delivering a copy of this agreement and complying <br />with its terms. Further, a governmental unit in order to be eligible for membership herein must be <br />participants in the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act. The board may approve or disapprove <br />the admissions of a governmental unit. Approval must be by unanimous vote of the Board. The <br />board may impose reasonable conditions on the admission of members and establish procedures for <br />the removal of a member for cause. <br /> <br />3 <br />
