and specifications for Improvement No. P-84-30 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council on March 18, 1985, the City Public Works Director has prepared plans and specifications for Improvement No. P-85-4 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications for each such improvement specified above, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertissement for 1985 Contract A, Improvement Nos. ST-84-8, P-84-25, P-84-30 and P-85-4 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the city Manager and Public Works Director until 10:15 o'clock a.m. on May 7, 1985, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and City Public Works Director, will then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Curley and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present; and the following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
