Looking at your

inflation costs that are going to occur for the next five years

or so, you're looking at a 20 to 25 percent increase in this

cost right now. So as far as I'm concerned, I'm very much for

it. The streets do need work on them. They are very thin.

'I'hey need extra help, lots of help, in that area where there is
a lot of drainage.
DEMOS: Anyone else?
MI KE McCARrri-lY: My name is Mike Mccarthy and I
live at 25,$1 North Fisk, which is just south of where Rose

Place and Fisk Street meet. Basically, both of these streets

are the old often referred to cow path type streets in

Roseville. They are really temporary streets and what happens
in this particular location, Rose Place comes down to Fisk and
anytime you have a rain, it tends to wash. And the street
strictly Rose Place, I think, tends to break up with that
washing and the sand, gravel, tar, what have you, continually
breaks up and washes down. So they are not what you would call
really good streets. Certainly they are drivable, they are
passable, you know, you can drive on them, but they are not
what you'd be proud of.
I'd like to also say that when Doug Strong gave
us the talk at the first meeting that we came to hear, I was

DOUGHERTi & SIGSTAD
