<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />was duly held on the 10th day of June, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Curley, Kehr, Franke, and <br />Demos, and the following were absent: Johnson. <br /> <br />Member Demos introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7741 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF STREET AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION OVER I-35W <br />BETWEEN THE INTERSECTIONS OF CLEVELAND AVENUE <br />AND COUNTY ROAD B-2, AND LONG LAKE ROAD AND TERMINAL ROAD <br /> <br />Identified as Project 84-16 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is desirous of more intense development on the <br />west side of I-35W in the area of County Road C, as indicated in <br />the 1980 Comprehensive Plan; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to enable this potential development to occur, it is <br />necessary to construct a bridge over I-35W between the intersections <br />of County Road B-2 and Cleveland Avenue on the east, and Terminal <br />Road and Long Lake Road on the west; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, various alignments for this potential bridge construction <br />have been considered; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, meetings with citizens have resulted in modifications to <br />the design; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, various consulting engineers and engineering firms have <br />been considered to assist the City in doing such a project; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the consulting firm of SEH, Inc., is the preferred firm <br />for such work; <br />
