The new three year period is 1999 through <br />001 and new proposals have been received. <br />proposal committee c onsisting of <br />0. Human resource Director, Karen Kurt <br />A ssistant Finance D irect or, Dick Ensrude <br />Financial Analyst, Jeremy vacinek <br />City Council Member, Dean Maschka <br />Finance Director, Ed Burrell <br />have reviewed the audit submittals. Seven proposals were received with the not to exceed costs <br />for the three year period rang from $42,620 to $54,976. <br />Financial Implications <br />The proposed costs are contained within the annual budgets and are within estimates for 1999. In <br />addition, a proportionate share of the cost will be paid for by the respective funds receiving Federal <br />monies. <br />Recommendation <br />After a review, the committee is recommending the proposal submitted by Kern, DeWenter, Vi ere, <br />Ltd., as the lowest cost proposal meeting the proposal and interview requirements. <br />Council Action <br />Motion accepting the proposal of Kern, Dewenter, viere, Ltd. to be the City's outside auditor for <br />the fiscal gears of 1 999, 2000, and 200 at a total not -to- exceed cost of 44,000. <br />
