John Loftus <br />Fire Marshall <br />Roseville Fire Department <br />26 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, N N 55113 <br />Dear Mr. Loftus <br />Thaw you for taking time from your schedule to discuss with me the possibility of conducting a <br />p rescribed burn on a small native planting on the grounds of Bonestroo Associates. Below is <br />an explanation of the purp ose of the burn, a brief summary of the site, equipment and personnel <br />p p <br />fanned and our experience in such activities. .attached you will also find material that provides <br />a dditional detail on the site location, p� aiming, and our previous experience with this type of <br />activity. <br />Purpose of the Burn <br />T The burn is proposed for several reasons, including intra education about a service our <br />p <br />Natural <br />Resources Management Team offers `ers to e lients, as well as to improve the quality of the <br />native planting /wildlife habitat in which the company has already invested a substantial amount <br />of time and money. <br />Site <br />p <br />The site is <br />a west -facia slope adjacent to the Bonestroo office. It is approximately 25 Feet wide <br />by 180 feet to n g and bordered on the west b a city storm water pond an on the east b mowed <br />lawn/parking 4 <br />lot.
