Rose H Im Pla i(s .1q] 110- The City of Roseville has several different housing programs currently in place under the basic guidance of the comprehensive Plan and goals that have been established by Council for participation in the Livable Communities Program. S taff has prepared a draft Housing Flan which can serve as a guide to Council and Staff regarding current and future housing policy and planning., The Plan summarizes the goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Man and Livable Communities Program and provides an outline of the different housing programs developed over the past several years. Staff has also added 'Implementation strategies that could be provided to more fully ac the housing objectives* 2.0 Summar of Draft Housin Plar The draft Housing Plan inc ludes an i ntroduction, background, gui p rinciples, objectives an implementation strategies. Many of the implementation strategies are already in place but there are ways that the City can enhance the programs by making new services available to Roseville residents. 3.0 Proposed Program enhancements and Additions for Housing Renovation The following outlines proposed enhancements to eidsting programs and additional ways the City can provide services to achieve the objectives outlined in the Draft Housing Program Under Objective A. Implementation Strategy Support and fund loan programs. The City currently markets several loan programs for home renovations provided with funding through the City Housing Fund County CDBG and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. It is difficult to determine which program would work the hest for each individual homeowner based upon types of repairs needled and income levels.
