Include in all Business Link Packets and distribute at Business <br />Link Luncheons. Strengthen relationship with Japanese representative to include ways to <br />increase effectiveness of program. <br />3.2 Dedicate one Business Link Newsletter on the topic of international trade and the <br />Roseville Honorary Trade Program. <br />3.3 Develop a stronger relationship with world Trade Center and Department of Trade and <br />Economic Development. Update in -house international trade information. <br />3.4 Continue to work with Northwestern College to develop an independent study course <br />regarding international trade and Roseville businesses. The program would provide the <br />necessary research needed to develop more target programs for Roseville businesses and <br />will include researching current Roseville business needs and international trade profiles, <br />research and compile resource information available at the world Trade Center and <br />through the Department of Trade and Economic Development and develop a program to <br />male better connections between international trade and Roseville Businesses. In <br />addition, the study will help to identify additional contacts for expansion of the Honorary <br />Trade Program. <br />3.5 Serve as "Gatekeeper" of information regarding international trade for Roseville Business <br />requests. when needed refer Roseville Businesses to the appropriate agencies for <br />international trade information and technical assistance. <br />3.6 Attend one international trade forum to strengthen understanding of international trade <br />issues.
