Service vans are to be parked exclusively, overnight, weekends as well as during <br /> daytime service hours, in the southwest parking area(area has been screened along <br /> the south'/2 of the west property line with an eight foot tall board-on-board fence, <br /> and, a chain link security fence was installed along the south side to the south east <br /> entry gate area of this lot. <br /> C. Pick-up trucks used by MediaOne are to be parked in the northeast parking lot(32 <br /> spaces) during day, evening and weekends. <br /> d. Employees are to park in the southeast lot (70 spaces) weekdays, during daytime <br /> hours. <br /> e. Customer parking for MediaOne is east%2 of the horseshoe driveway (Woodhill). <br /> f. Customer parking for Cable TV has been retained along west %2 of horseshoe <br /> driveway(Woodhill). <br /> g. Alm the south side of the southeast entry drive for the southwest van parkin area. <br /> 12 additional van parking spaces are proposed. This proposal adds approximately <br /> 2,475 s.f. of paved surface to the site. <br /> h. Along the southeast side of the building, 29 car parking spaces (7,353 s.f.) are <br /> proposed for Media One emMoyees. <br /> Additional Requirements. The Year 2000 Memorandum of Understanding also requires <br /> additional landscape screening along Victoria, a detailed building use plan and site plan, <br /> allows for contracting for other day or evening parking by the adjoining nursing and care <br /> facilities, and further provides that all users of the site are to abide by current City Code. <br /> 3.0 Suburban Cable Commission Proposal <br /> 3.1 The Cable Commission has proposed a second box truck parking space adiacent to the <br /> current the Commission's current truck parking location along the northwest comer of the <br /> e� e� <br /> building. No new impervious surface is proposed, however, an old school utilitv building <br /> must be razed and the space resurfaced. The two SCC trucks are screened from the adioining <br /> residential condominium areas to the southwest. <br /> 4.0 Staff Recommendation <br /> After review of the Year 2000 Memorandum and research into the original approvals for this <br /> set of industrial uses within a residential zone, it is the staffs interpretation that expanded <br /> truck parking on this site was not intended. However, vehicle (passenger cars)parking is a <br /> permitted accessory use in the residential zone and could be expanded, provided the <br /> expansion meets current city code requirements for pavement curb and gutter, landscaping, <br /> and surface water(quality and quantity)management. <br /> Approval of both of these proposals has been received from the Roseville School District <br /> 623, MediaOne, and the Suburban Cable Commission.
