Article 8: MEETINGS <br /> 8.3) The amendment is technical and serves only to make the JCA consistent <br /> with the Bylaws. <br /> 8.5) Section 8.5 was included in the amendments proposed July 29,1999 and <br /> read as follows: <br /> "The Board may conduct business without holding a resular or special <br /> meeting if a maiority of members ratify an action in writing (bv US Mail, <br /> electronic mail or facsimile). All actions ratified by written consent must be <br /> distributed by US Mail, electronic mail or facsimile to all members of the <br /> Board within ten daVS of the ratification." <br /> This amendment has been deleted due to concerns expressed regarding <br /> potential violations of the Open Meeting Law. <br /> Article 9: OFFICERS <br /> 9.1) Increases terms for all officers from one year to two years.
