Water plants weekly if no rain or they appear wilted. <br /> Mark bare spots for replanting with colored flags. <br /> Fertilize in late fall after flowers go dormant for spring growth. <br /> Note; The fertilizer used is Milorganite, a very mild natural product. <br /> 7. Permission of Landowner <br /> The land is under the jurisdiction of the City of Roseville and is managed by its Parrs and <br /> Recreation Department. The project is located in the Harriet Alexander Nature Center, a <br /> fifty five 55) acre portion of oseille's Central park on the east side of Dale Street <br /> between County Road B2 and County Road C. A letter from the Director of Parrs and <br /> Recreation Department granting permission for this woodland enhancement project is <br /> attached for your reference. Please refer to 4ttachment B. <br /> 8, Authorilzation to Accept Funds <br /> All grant administration will be by the Roseville Parrs and Recreation Department. All <br /> expenses will be paid by Mr. partridge and submitted by the City to the DNR for <br /> reimbursement. A.letter from the Director of Parks and recreation stating their <br /> willingness to administer this grant and contribute project assistance is attached for your <br /> reference. Please refer to Attachment B. A City Council resolution will be made to <br /> accept grant funds during its Apr*1 1 meeting. A copy of the resolution be <br /> submitted at that time. <br /> 9. Maps <br /> An aerial photo of the Nature Center and a detailed map of the wildflower garden area are <br /> included for your reference. Please refer to 4ttach ent C and D. <br /> 10, Planting Ust <br /> The following plant materials list is based on the specific requirements of each woodland <br /> wildflower such as type of soil, amount of light, amount of water, etc. In addition,this is <br /> a habitat restoration project so only plants native to this specific area of Minnesota will be <br /> planted. Potted plants for spring planting will come from Landscape Alternatives and the <br /> bare root stock for fall planting will come from the prairie Moon Nursery. Both are <br /> reputable suppliers. <br /> 6 <br />
