Task 2.0 - Conceptual Plan for Transitwav Between Rosedale and U of N-1 Under this task, Blew staff will more fully explore and develop a conceptual plan for a bus only transitway link between Rosedale hoppinor Center and the University of Minnesota"s transitwav that currently links the Minneapolis and St. Paul Campuses. To develop the conceptual plan, Blow will undertake the followincr: Identify possible alignments. Estimate the annual number of passengers served by the transitway n,,,, both existing and new Estimate costs to construct the transitway. Identify benefits provided by the transitway. Identify potential obstacles to constructing the transitway. Meet with Metro Transit to explore regional Llse of the transit",av and operatiolial considerations. Meet with other entities that tnay be invol�,cd in developrnem of the transit way. e.a. City of Falcon Heights. Task 3.0 - Meetings with City Staff Throughout the evaluation of these two projects. Blew staff will meet with representatives from the City to provide updates on the prnerress of the work and seep auidanee on the direction of tile work. Three ( ) meetings are proposed between staff from the City of Roseville and B w: (1;,) early an in the study; (2) near the mid-paint; and, (3) at the conclusion of the work.
