Who are the users we want in this center? <br /> Should the concept follow` Integrate three concepts into one place, be blendable, fluid. The project <br /> must have ``connectivity". <br /> The fire and public works facilities may be more industrial 'in nature, may not fit in accounting <br /> center. <br /> Are there "special needs" facilities that could he included? <br /> Parking should be considered an integral part of each concept. <br /> Residential characteristics of the center may include: <br /> • Flo transit and residential uses work together? <br /> • could a transit site go on mobile hone site. <br /> • does transit site include more density surrounding it? <br /> • encourage housing within Comprehensive Plan(guide it) <br /> • how could the city connect uses across transit lines' <br /> • does there need to be a better government center connection to Central Parr? <br /> • design an interconnected campus site. <br /> All three concepts included the three primary uses but had different emphasis. For example,the <br /> Parkway concept has wide green spaces and pedestrian activity along Lexington Parkway and <br /> County load C. Approximately 1000 parking spaces, in a ramp, would be needed to serve the <br /> expanded government and recreation centers. The new uses are oriented to the parkways; the <br /> parking spaces are behind the new uses. From the northwest corner of Lexington and County <br /> Road C a winter garden faces Central Parr. The recreation center extends from the current <br /> skatin g center south to County Road. The government center remains at the comer of <br /> Lexington and C. <br /> 15 <br />
