REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL <br /> CONTRACT LEASfNG of AMUSEN4ENT MACHf ES <br /> FOR <br /> THE Ro SE VILLE S ATIN G CENTER <br /> 2661 Civic Center Drive, Roseville,, N/1N 55113 <br /> . <br /> The Roseville Parks and recreation Department is inviting proposals from qualified amusement <br /> machines vendors for the leasing and maintenance of approved amusement machines at the <br /> Roseville Slating Center. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing approved leased <br /> amusement machines and any needed repair services. The RSC will provide the space for the <br /> amusement machines from the selected vendor. <br /> II. THE RO EVILLE SKATING CENTER. <br /> The Carne Rooter is located in the newly expanded Roseville k ati ng Center. This i n eludes the <br /> Roseville Arena and the John Rose Minnesota OVAL, The Arena is a 2000 seat capacity year <br /> round ice rink and is host to thousands of youngsters and adults for hockey practices and games. <br /> It also is home to one of the largest figure skating programs in the twin cities. The OVAL is a <br /> 1101000 square foot year around outdoor slating facility. From November to March, it is a <br /> refrigerated ice surface. From April to October it is an inline skating facility. I nl i n e amenities <br /> and activities include open skating, inline hockey, inline speedskating, inline lessons and a new <br /> 16,000 sq. ft. inline aggressive slate park, Both facilities host numerous birthday parties. The <br /> newly expanded facility will feature a 300 capacity banquet rooter immediately ad j ace nt to the <br /> game root. <br /> 111. HOURS OF OPERATION <br /> The planned hours of operation are 4-9 p.m. Monday t hro ugh Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. <br /> Saturday and Sunday in the months of September through Maur. During the months of June, Juiy <br /> and August the daily hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. <br /> IV, OPENING DATE <br /> This is a facility that is currently under construction. The scheduled opening date is February 1, <br /> 1999. NOTE- Interested vendors may schedule a tour of the facility if they are interested. The <br /> RSC will also entertain suggestions on final lighting and decorating of the room. <br /> SECURITY AND SUPERVISION <br /> The game room will have a secure door that will be locked during all times when it is not in use. <br /> Additionally, a video camera system will be used for security. Staff will he in the area when the <br /> room 1s in use. <br />
