REQUEST FOR COiTNCIL ACTION Date: 11/13/01 <br /> Item No.: H-2 <br /> Department Approval: Manager Reviewed Agenda Section <br /> �>Yz� 7 f &&c Hearings <br /> Description: Love From Minnesota's application for an On-Sale Wine license for <br /> establishments with 75 seats or less at 2465 Fairview Avenue North. <br /> Background <br /> Love From Minnesota has applied for an On-Sale Wine License at 2465 Fairview Avenue North. <br /> The Police Chief has reviewed the records and finds no reason for denial of the licenses. The City <br /> Attorney will review the application prior to the issuance of the license to ensure it is in order. A <br /> representative from Love From Minnesota will attend the hearing to answer any questions the <br /> Council may have. <br /> Financial Implications <br /> The revenue that is generated from the license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police <br /> compliance checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license <br /> administration. <br /> Recommendations <br /> It is recommended that the license be approved for the period January 1, 2002 thru December 3 1, <br /> 2002. <br /> Council Action <br /> Motion approving/denying Love From Minnesota's On-Sale Wine license for establishments with 75 <br /> seats or less at 2465 Fairview Avenue North. <br />
