EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 13, 2001, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> The following members were present: and the following were absent: <br /> Council member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO <br /> CITY PROJECT P-SW-99-14 <br /> DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br /> PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-SW-99-14 of <br /> the City of Roseville on all that property within the City of Roseville abutting Larpenteur Avenue, <br /> Arona Street to Oxford Street, for the reconstruction of the street by the installation of concrete paving, <br /> concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, sidewalk installation, utility repair, landscaping, streetscaping, <br /> and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> WHEREAS, the forgoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on <br /> the improvements and the resolutions relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvements is <br /> $5,938,982.00, the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvements <br /> amounts to $436,270.95 so that the total cost of the improvements will be $6,375,252.95 and of this cost <br /> the City will pay $179,8 15 .00 as its share of the cost. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby <br /> declared to be $278,298.02; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1 The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public Works Director, shall <br /> forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against every <br /> assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without regard to cash <br /> valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office <br /> for public inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing <br /> Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll. <br /> 2. The City Manager shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council <br /> thereof for their further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing therefor. <br />
