EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF <br /> MEETING of THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY of ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota} was duly held on the day of 199 at <br /> The fuliowing mealbers were present- <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Member introduced the following resolution and ,moved its- <br /> adoption.- <br /> RE OWTIo <br /> Increasing the Fire Pensions and Related ,natters <br /> WHEREAS, The Roseville Firefighters Relief Association Board has requested an increase <br /> in the Fire Penslollsa and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes the Fire ,Relief request for an increase is reasonable; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, f undirrg the benefits of the Fire Pension is the responsibility of the Board's <br /> Fund Management, the State of Minnesota through its state aid and the taxpayers of the City of <br /> Roseville; and <br /> WHEREAc: the Council and the Board mutually have determined it to b in th6Tbe"M <br /> interest to maximize the investment returns upon the Fund assets; and. <br /> WHEREAS, the Board 'i's crested by the state of Minnesota ota Frith the 'td1ponsibi iityr to <br /> prudently manage the Pension funds, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota in order to increase the pension amounts for the Roseville Fire Fighters, it intends to <br /> amend Section 106. 12 of the G i ty Code as follows: <br /> Service Pension amounts payable per month for each year: <br /> $25.60. Lump sum service amount payable for each year of <br /> service: $2,500.00 <br />
