POLICY OBJECTIVE <br /> The planned project is consistent with the original concept plans for the Skating Center <br /> Expansion Project and the project goals of creating spaces for non-skating recreational <br /> opportunities including activities that are enticing to families, sr. citizens and teens. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS <br /> The amount for the proposed project is $137,471. The money is not part of the project <br /> budget and would need to he taken from the balance of the Parks and Recreation <br /> Infrastructure Bond Fund. <br /> STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> Based on the project goals of creating spaces for non-skating recreational opportunities <br /> including activities that are enticing to families, sr. citizens and teens, staff encourages the <br /> Council to consider the authorization to proceed with construction of a walking track for the <br /> Roseville skating Center. <br /> COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br /> Motion authorizing the construction Manager, R.A. Morton, to proceed with the <br /> construction of a walking track for the Roseville Skating Center at a cost of$137,471 to <br /> he funded from the Parks and Recreation Infrastructure Bond Fund. <br />
