CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROE ILLE <br /> Pursuant to due cal and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville County of`Ramsey,Minnesota,was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday,the 13th <br /> day of July, 1998 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> The following members were present' and the <br /> following were absent, <br /> Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR THE LIVABLE COMMUNITIES <br /> DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM FOR LARPENTEUR NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> REVITALIZATION PROJECT <br /> WARE ,the City of Roseville is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's Housing <br /> Incentives Program for 1998 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and therefore eligible to <br /> make application for funds under the Livable ormnunities Demonstration Account, and <br /> VMEREA , the City has identified a proposed project within the pity that meets the <br /> Detnonstration Account's purpose/s and criteria; and <br /> WHEREAS the City has the-institutional,,managerial and financial capability-to ensure <br /> adequate project administration; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as <br /> stated in the contract agreements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as a legal <br /> sponsor for the 'ro ect contained in the Demonstration Accouiat application submitted on July , <br /> p � <br /> 1998; <br /> b the i Council(the" ouncil" of th6 City of <br /> IDw_THER�FDI�E BE IT 1�E �I�vEI� <br /> 1 e Minnesota (the "Ci "� , Ramsey County, Minnesota., that the City Manager is hereby <br /> Rosevi X , � . <br /> authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for this funding on behalf of the City of Roseville <br /> and auto y <br /> to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant. <br /> The- motion for. the -adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> oun <br /> cilmernber - and w6n vote being taken thereon,the following voted in <br /> _. <br /> favor: nd the <br /> r Y <br /> followin g voted against the same"t' <br /> . d.resolution was declareddul passed and adopted. <br /> wHEET�JPDI said _ y <br />
