Ins ections and Final GradeAF <br /> The entire site shall be finished to uniform grade. Excess earth on the site may be used to fill any <br /> excavations or depressions. The contractor shall bring in suitable fill if on-site material is not <br /> adequate. No debris shall be placed as fill on the site. The contractor shall take such measures as may <br /> be necessary to control dust on the site during the duration of the contract. <br /> The contractor must call for an inspection by a City of Roseville Building Inspector prior to any back- <br /> fill of excavations and to notify of utility disconnection. Failure to do so will result in re-excavation at <br /> no additional compensation. <br /> Defau t and Cancellation <br /> In the event that the contractor violates any of the provisions of the specification,the City of Roseville <br /> may temiinate the contract by written notice to the contractor. In such event,the City of Roseville <br /> may tale over the work and prosecute to completion,and the contractor shall be liable to the City of <br /> Roseville for any excess costs occasioned by the City of Roseville thereby. <br /> Completion of Work <br /> All work must be completed by Julv 2. 1998 At the discretion of the City of Roseville,a <br /> reasonable extension of time may be gyanted if such extension is in the interest of the City or if <br /> conditions of weather appear to warrant such an extension. <br /> Fa ment <br /> Payment to the contractor will be made upon satisfactory completion of this contact as determined by <br /> the City of Roseville,Community Development Staff. <br />
