Disconnection of Utilities The contractor shall be responsible for the disconnection of utilities. The sanitary sewer shall be capped at the property line with a permanent watertight cap or plug. The water services shall be disconnected at the curb stop. For further specifications on utility disconnection,please call 490-2304. Water and sewer disconnects must be done by a licensed contractor. Permits will be required for disconnects. Disconnection of all utility services to the site shall be the first order of work. Demolition mav not commence until the utility services have been disconnected and a demolition permit has been obtained. Indetv and Insurance The demolition and clearing of the site shall be carried out in such a manner to preclude damage to adjacent property. The contractor must agree to held harmless the City of Roseville,and their respective employees,from any claims for damages from any work performed under this contract. The contractor shall carry not less than$500,000 in public liability insurance and not less than $100,000 in properly damage in umnce naming the City as an additional insured and agrees to assume all liabilities for any act or deed of said contractor or sub-contractor and shall hold the City harmless against any and all suits,actions or claims brought on through any work under the performance of this cont ract. A certificate of m5surw=shall be provided at the time of license approval and permit applications. The contractor shall erect and maintain all necessary barricades and warning to adequately safeguard the public and workers. Notice to Cift of Roseville The contractor dWi notify the City of Roseville,Community Development staff two days prior to the commencement of demolition work. Removal of Material from the Site All salvage materials and/or debris remaining on the grounds of the site shall be the property of the contractor and removed from the premises and shall not be stored,burned or buried on the site. The contractor shall completely remove all building materials and debris from the site including all concrete sidewalks,footings,floors on grade or below grade,foundations,septic tanks,curbing, driveway nd parking lot areas,unless otherwise specified.
