Staff has been working cooperatively with <br /> the staff from the Roseville Area Schools on 4 specific projects. The specific <br /> projects include: <br /> 1. Roseville Area High School Building Signage <br /> 2. Roseville Area High School Monument Marker <br /> 3. Central Park/Br'mhall Community Gymnasium Monument Signs <br /> 4. Lexington/ ty B-2 corner <br /> Additionally, City staff has been researching he: <br /> 5. Roseville Skating center Sign <br /> The design principals that we have been using include the elements of <br /> Aesthetics <br /> Information <br /> Traffic Guidance <br /> Promotion <br /> The following are the specifics of each site. <br /> Roseville eville Area High School <br /> The si na a needs at the Roseville Area High School are divided into 3 <br /> g g <br /> elements: <br /> 1. On Suilding Signage <br /> A. Descri tion: <br /> In August of 1997 as part of the building contract, the School <br /> District installed the sign signifying the Roseville Gymnastics <br /> Center. This was a tremendous help for citizens identifying the <br /> facility and expediting the traffic flow at the site. Parks and <br /> Recreation staff has asked that the School District do the same for <br /> other parts of the building. Because the city uses several parts of <br /> the building, we receive complaints from people wanting to know <br /> where the school is and in particular where the gym, theater or <br /> administration areas are located. <br />
