The property is <br /> zoned R-1 Single Family Residential and adjacent land uses are all single family <br /> residential. <br /> Ir. Jenkins is requesting a variance from section '10'12.011(B), city code,to reduce <br /> the side yard setback of a garage addition to three feet 'a variance from section <br /> 1004.02(D)to reduce the rear yard setback of a garage addition to 23 feet, and a <br /> v dance from section 703.04(B)(9)to reduce the setback of a driveway to two feet <br /> in order to bring the a sting driveway into compliance. The property has a single <br /> car aftched garage at the rear of the house that is accessed perpendicular to the <br /> driveway. The applicant is in need of usable garage space for two vehicles and <br /> would like to construct a two-car addition on the south side of the existing garage. <br /> Th e existing garage would then be turned in-to additional living space.
