Driveway Fie uirement Proposal variance Side yard setback- 5' 4' setback 1' variance Boulevard parking - o' extension 10' extension 10' variance onto property from front lot line This request was denied by the City Council on April 27, 1 998 and referred to the staff to suggest alternatives; however, Mr. Dyson is asking that the request be reconsidered based on errors in the site plan (boulevard parking space extends 10 feet onto his property rather than one foot as shown on the original site plan) and previous actions by the City Council to allow continuance of similar boulevard parking spaces. 2,0 BACKGROUND 2.1 Randall Dyson owns a single family residence at 2474 Churchill Street. The property is looted in an R-'l Single Family Residential District and all adjacent land uses are single family residential. 2.2 The boulevard parking space on this property is listed on the inventory of boulevard parking spaces regularly in use, dated .dune 30, 1984. When ordinance 962 was adopted in September 1 g , existing boulevard spans on this inventory were allowed to continue until roadway improvements involved the disturbance of the boulevard or substantial improvements were made to the property.
