LANGTON LAKE PARK DEVELOPMENT PETITION <br /> 15-Mar-98 <br /> We the undersigned request that any further action or planavng on the Langton <br /> Lake Park be delayed until the surrounding homeowners can meet with the <br /> responsible parties and discuss various options and possibilities. <br /> While we realize there was a meeting held on March 4 (date change last minute), in <br /> our opuuon it was a meeting where Bob Bierscheid and the park department <br /> informed us what they wanted to accomplish. The plan they presented certainly had <br /> positive features but there was no time for the attendees to contemplate the pros and <br /> Dons of that plan or to consider several different options that are available to our <br /> affected neighborhood. Financial data was not available at that meeting that could <br /> greatly affect how best to develop the land. Our group has several different options <br /> we would like to have considered: <br /> • What are the cots to change the sewer line across the Lydia viaduct to open <br /> up the flow between the middle and the northern sections and add a off- <br /> road Bath bridge? <br /> • Fenced fields drastically change the nature of his unique wooded and open <br /> park area. <br /> • CutIfing down of woods for baseball field should not be done. <br /> The Citv CouncH is vo on mma or changes Monday.
