Lake Owasso Safe Boating Association request for placement of <br /> water-ski course and jump on Lake Owasso. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The Council, at its March 10 meeting, established a public hearingfor March 23 to <br /> consider the Lake Owasso Safe Boating Association's i request for approval of placement <br /> of a water-ski course and water-ski jump on Lake Owasso. Attached is a letter from the <br /> Association and a map shoring the location of the course and jump. <br /> Notice of the hearing regarding the request has been mailed to affected lake propel <br /> owners and placed in the legal section of the Roseville Review. <br /> The City of Shoreview has approved the Association's request. <br /> STAFF RECOMMENDATIO <br /> It is recommended the City Council recommend that the Ramsey County Sheriff approve <br /> the request for water-ski course and jump on Lake Owasso. <br /> COUNCIL ACTION RE ESTER: <br /> Motion recommending approval of the Lake Owasso Safe Boating Association's request <br /> for permit from the Ramsey County Sheriff to place water-ski course and water-ski jump <br /> on Lake Owasso for 1998. <br />
