Retaining quality companies and <br /> capturing their expansions is the long term goal of all activities. The approach is <br /> systematic, long term and designed to establish familiarity and trust so that when al( <br /> company begins an expansion process, they will consider Roseville first and draw on city <br /> resources to assist then. A variety of activities, such as industry visits, fax newsletter, <br /> and � g ou meetings will continue to be used to reach various audiences and reinforce key <br /> messages over time. <br /> Based on our discussions, specific business retention activities will include: <br /> update current business data base quarterly using Dunn and Bradstreet <br /> resources. regular updates and occasional new business: Billing 8- 10 hours <br /> annually. If major data base changes are requested: hourly rate + cost of <br /> licensing @ $35-.50 per company <br /> monthl y business retention meetings; planning and transition with new staff <br /> Billing: 22 -30 hours annually <br /> provide support on monthly fax newsletter BusinessLink- planning, proofing, <br /> and occasional writing-Billing: 10- 16 hours annually <br /> business retention group meetings e.g. business lunch re: workforce <br /> solutions Depends on number of events, role and time commitment required- <br /> billed at hourly rate <br /> special support on business expansion projects at the request of staff (e.g. <br /> financing plan for expanding manufacturer) Billed at hourly rate <br />
