February 1998 <br /> Dear Roseville Area Business Manager, <br /> One of the annual events of l oseville's Rosefest celebration is the Run for the Roses. The Run <br /> consists of a 10 kilometer race (6.2 miles), kilometer race(3.1 riles) and '�mile family <br /> fun <br /> run. Last year about loo runners participated in these events. <br /> This year will be the loth annual race, which will be held on Saturday, ,tune 27th. In order to <br /> make this a special race we are proposing to have a door prize drawing for every loth runner <br /> entered in the race. For example, if 700 runners participated, we would need 35 door prizes* we <br /> would greatly appreciate it if your business would donate on or more door prizes for this event. <br /> The suggested value per donation is in the $5-$10 range. Your donation would help make this <br /> year's 20th annual race a truly memorable one! <br /> The City will recognize all businesses that contribute at the awards ceremony/door prize <br /> drawings which will be held shortly after the race is finished. <br /> If you have any questions about this donation or the race, please contact Fick Schultz, Roseville <br /> Parks and Recreation supervisor} at 415-2 100. A door prize form and envelope are enclosed for <br /> your convenience.
