(BFI), would like to thank you for allowing us the <br /> opportunity to submit a proposal regarding the City of Roseville recycling contract. BFI has a <br /> long history of supporting recycling and is an established recycling company in the Metropolitan <br /> Area. <br /> BFI takes pride in the recycling collection segment of our business and is considered a leader in <br /> the industry. In fact, our Minneapolis Recycling Facility recently was awarded a Quality Award <br /> from Weyerhauser Company. Each year Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world's largest <br /> integrated forest products companies, selects various suppliers of recycled "Old News Paper" for <br /> their prestigious Quality Award. BFI regularly receives a Quality Award and is distinguished as a <br /> "Grade A" supplier of recycled newspaper to Weyerhauser. <br /> BFI is also very concerned in terms of customer service and excellent service. In an effort to <br /> determine what kind of a job we are doing, we contract with an independent firm to conduct <br /> random customer satisfaction surveys. Those findings are then shared with the district and any <br /> areas of improvement are immediately addressed at monthly safety meetings. Be assured that at <br /> BFI, customer satisfaction is more than just picking up their recyclables. <br /> We hope that the options BFI will add to your current recycling program can further improve on <br /> an already successful program in the City of Roseville.
