Policy Implications
For these types of purchases the city secures quotes, bids or buys the items through the state contract bid list.
The bid list has a negotiated price reduction for state agencies and municipalities. Each proposed item is either
included on the state's bid list or an approved equivalent will be provided at the same or lower cost. He will be assisted by
City staff members Tim Pratt, Terre Heiser and Aaron Seeley.
Council Action Requested
Direction on whether or not to purchase a Pioneer 50" Plasma monitor ($7,500) and mobile cart ($489).
Attachments: Equipment Memo 8/1 7/2001
Monitor installation diagram
Plasmaa monitor and cart specifications
LCD display system pricing
