Problem: Audio board lacks sufficient inputs with phantom power to accommodate all
the microphones.
Priority: Medium
Solution: Purchase additional miter. Meetings take place at either the tables or the dais.
Currently we swap out the microphone inputs on the audio board depending
on which format the Council or Commissions use. There are unused inputs on
the audio board that do not have phantom power. Rather than purchasing a
new audio board, we will continue to use the current system of swapping out
microphones depending on the type of meeting. Anew mixer will allow use
to add three additional microphones in a work session type setting. That will
account for all of the gooseneck microphones we will install.
Problem: Computer with titling software has not been installed.
Priority: Low
Solution: Jamie will work with Terre to finish installation of the Comps computer. A
second tower drive has been purchased and will be installed in the control
room to run the CompiY. The current desktop drive will be moved to the
presentation desk to replace the system there that operates on Windows `95.
Problem: Dais is not equipped to allow members to access the intemet or do multi-
media presentations.
Priority: Low
Solution: Wait. The current data ports at the dais are low speed and are not able to
accommodate multi-media needs. The flat panel monitors will allow members
to more easily view material presented. We will not go forward with a system
of high speed data ports until we can better define how Council and
Commission members would use them.
• Page 4
