ETITION Petition opposing the installation of paving, concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances to Neighborhood 10 as contained in Improvement P-98-0i We the undersigned homeowners in Neighborhood 10, including all that property abufting Asbury Street, Snelling Avenue to city limits, Ridgewood Road to city limits, and Asbury street to city limits, do hereby request of the Council of the City of Roseville as follows: That N eig K)orhood 10 not be included in Improvement P-98-02. That it is the position of the undersigned homeowners of Neighborhood 10 that, since most of Asbury Street and Ridgewood Road lie within the Village of Arden Hills forming a well defined neighborhood, it would detract from the aesthetic value as well as the ro erty values of the neighborhood to have a few homes p p with a curb and gutter in front of them while the majority of homes along the streets would not. As an example,, on the north side of Ridgewood Road there would be only two homes with a curb and gutter for about 200 - 300 feet while the remainder of that side would be without a curb and gutter. On the south side of the street there would be five or six homes with curbing for about 500 - 600 feet. similar situation exists on Asbury Street. Also several homes would have partial curbing. All of these problems would occur because the village line intersects property lines at sharp angles and forms a long diagonal lure as it crosses Ridgewood Road.
