(Planning File #2963) is planning for the

159 La nteur' Ave. W. From a standpoint of the plans for the facelift of the main
pmf at r
. e Shopping Center it is long overdue and will be a welcome addition to our neighf (bood.
building of# Ip
Furthermore the demolition of the Fina Gas Station and the demolition of what was formerly the
Margolis Nursery has also enhanced the overall appearance of the Shopping Center.
Since we
live in what is undeniably the cicset residential area to the south of the proposed protect we
are most
concerned as to the impact the proposed Taco Bell would have on our properties and our
everyday lives.
We have no issues with Taco Bell, anybody who has eaten at one of their restaurants know that they
Serve a g meal at a reasonable puree. Although a do have several concerns, most importantly
being hours of operation. We feel any late night operation of this restaurant would trot he in keeping
rail feel and corrtinu' of our neighborhood.Anything after 10 PIVI weekdays and 11 pm on
with the overall would be catering#the after
the weekends. Wouid not be serving the sunmunding neighborhood but
bar cmwd.
1 personally drive by the Taco Bell at 565 Snelling Ave. N. after midnight on my way home from work.
I see cars lined up
at the dare thr u with radios blasting and people loitering in the parking lot. They
are,pen until 1
AM weekdays and 2 AM weekends. l called the Taco Bell In Stillwater and they close
at 1 gprn everyday.
We feel that would be more in keeping with what is a residerftial area to the south
of Larpente ur.
The anther issues we have ,mostly dead with traffic and pedestrian flow in what is already a very
pa
congested parking lot and hope the City of Roseville does something to address those issues.
g
W e
We hope that the planning commission takes these issue into consideration when making its
recommendation to the City Council
Sincerely,
i r
- .1 --
Brian D.
