VP
Our concerns with a Taco Bell are as follows:
• Increase in loitering.
• Late night hours means an increase in late night traffic.
Loud speakers on the drive thru_ When we are griiling in the backyard with
Mends or are asleep with the windows open, l don't care to hear a bean
burrito confirmation.
Increase in an already congested intersection.
• People corning into our neighborhood after bar to frequent the restaurant.
• The current sites for Taco Bell restaurants are fake Street, University
Avenue, Rice Street, we are a far cry from those neighborhoods. We do not
vrnsh to turn Roseville/Como into those kinds of communities. The cn6me rate
in those neighborhoods is not something that we wish to strive for.
Bringing in the Past Food business to our neighborhood would open the doors
for zoning of other fast foods to come in and that is not the neighborhood we
chose to live in,
We do support the local business' at the mall and am in favor of it being updated.
e p urchased our bed from Verb and they were wonderful. We go to the bagel
shop, get our pictures developed, get our prescriptions filled, go to dinners and
out with our family and friends all within walking distance. That is apart, of the
charm. The Taco Bell would to ran it into a city. Do we need to sacrifice charming
parts of St. Paul to bow down to the doilar? We will have nothing left but the
option of moving to the suburbs to raise a family if we can't restore the charm in
St. Paul. We are in the progress of destroying it with this new proposed plan.
We could be another Grand Avenue, with restoration of the charm and profiting
business' without the fast food. The people do care about the "old charm" and the
feel it brings. We wouldn't line in the neighborhood if we didn't.
Thank you for your time in considering our position regarding this issue.
Sincerely,
rt
t s1 k t
f7
Blake, Stephanie and Spencer Gelber
1133 California Avenue West
St. Paul p MN 55108
