Our police staff has been <br /> working monthly with managers and owners of rental property in Roseville, especially <br /> on issues related to selection, retention, and level of satisfaction of tenants. One of the <br /> goals of the housing ro ram is to retain good citizens, to introduce them to city and <br /> school services invite then to participate more fully in community programs. Ultimately <br /> some of these renters may be the "corps" of the first time huger program. <br /> Small Business Loan Program. Ramsey county has developed a small <br /> business program siness loan ram for building, land and equipment. The program is primarily for <br /> � <br /> start-ups and expansions of businesses., with a maximum loan of$250,000. Another <br /> program, Ramsey County's Section 108 Business Loan program can supply from <br /> $500,000 to $700,000 for a partner loan lead by a local bank. Generally, this program <br /> is used to purchase equipment or land for expansion because the County creeds <br /> security on uri its portion of the loan. The annual line of credit is $3.0 million county-wide. <br /> As one example, Roseville's U.V. Color has received two loans, the latest a $400,000 <br /> loan in September of 1997. <br /> Home and Garden Fair. Each year, around March 1st, the City of <br /> Roseville, <br /> Roseville Area School District 623, and the Roseville Family Collaborative <br /> r a housing and garden fair where present and future homeowners can learn <br /> sponsor � <br /> abort#h � <br /> the latest housing improvements and construction techniques from the experts <br /> the architects, <br /> home remodel contractors, landscapers and nurseries, materials <br /> suppliers, bankers and housing inspectors.
