The total city participation for the project will be approximately $15711800 The estimated amount in the feasibility report presented to the council at the public hearing showed an estimated city cost participation of $211,500. The new project cost estimate is approximately 75% of that figure and reflects anticipated lower bid prices and different cost participation f ormgl a s when the final estimates have been comp 1 eted. Financing for the project will come from a variety of sources including city utility funds, pathway funds, major street fund for the shoulder and curb and gutter costs, storm utility fund for storm sewer work, and charges against private property owners for additional private driveway work* Costs to repair driveways to match grade or replace driveway entrances as part of the project will be paid for by County funds. Traffic signal costs will also be financed from the City's major street fund. Staff recommendation: Staff recommends that this cooperative agreement be approved and the city officials be authorized to sign the documents After receipt of the signed agreement, plans will be signed and bids advertised for the works Hopefully, the county can complete the award of bid process in 90 days to allow the bids to be taken and the contract awarded no later than March 9, 1994. If this is not done, a new public hearing will have to be held since the project was not ordered within the statutory one-year time 1 imitation. RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION Motion approving cooperative agreement 92015 between Ramsey County and the City of Roseville for reconstruction of Haml ine Avenue from county Road B to County Road C.
