The apparent low bidder was Grendahl Mechanical with
a bid of $15g6609 This improvement was one of many that were
scheduled to be done and paid for in 1993. The following is a list
of the 1993 public Works C*.I*P e expenditures.
New window wall in lunchroom $ 3107e00
New door in lunchroom 150.00
New rooftop air conditioner 4,4 00 00
Repair/modify garage doors 3j603.25
office carpeting 21046*93
Fuel canopy 13 ,625920
Yard removal 6, 4 0.0 0
Yard replacement 17r210924
SUBTOTAL $50, 302. 62
The 1993 Public Works Building Fund had a beginning balance of
$60j,0009 We have expended $50,302.62 and have a balance of
$98697. 3$9
The cost of the radiant heat is $15,660 and the engineering fees
for TDA are not to exceed $2,500 for a total of $18, 160o The
difference between the total cost of the radiant heat system and
the remaining 1993 C.I.P. fund is $8,462*62o
It is our recommendation ion that this deficit be funded by encumbering
$8,,500 from the $20,,000 19 4 Public Works Building Improvement
Fund, some of which was earmarked for heating improvements anyway.
If y ou have any questions regarding this memo of recommendation,
please contact use
