u reimbursement on or before the 90th day following the ,lose of the Plan Year. If a balance remains in the Participant's Medial Reimbursement Account for a Plan Year after all reimbursements under this Benefit Plan,such balance shall not be wed over to reimburse the Participant for Qualifying Medical or Dental Care Expenses incurred during a subsequent Plan Year, and shall not be available to the e P art1cipant �n any other form or manner, but sr hall remain the propel of the Plan, and the Participant shall forfeit all rights with respect to such balance. 7#09 Termination of-Benefits, In the event a Participant ceases to be an Employee of the City, his parti * ation p in the Plan shall continue until the last day of the month irr which his employment terminated. The Plan shall reimburse any eligible expenses (up to the amount of the Participant's annual benefit, less prior benefits paid during the Plan Year) that are incurred during the Plan Year period of participation that ends on the last da y of the month in which the Participant terminates. However, no reimbursement will be made for any expense incurred during a period for which the Participant has not paid the required pre�niums under the Plan. The participant shall be entitled to submit a claim for reimbursement of eligible expenses at any time before the 90th day after the close of the Plan Year. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph,the Participant(and his dependents)p )shall have the right to elect continuation coverage under Article VI, below, ARTICLE VIII MINIMUM BENEFITS 8*01 City Disuetion The City nay, at its discretion, prescribe Minimum Benefits for any Plan Year.
