REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 12-13--93 <br /> ITEM No. : <br /> Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda section: <br /> WA Hearings <br /> Item Description: CSM corporation request for PUD Concept Plan <br /> Approval and preliminary Plat, Rezoning from I- <br /> 2 to FLED. <br /> Background: <br /> 11 c M is proposing to redevelop a parcel of land in Roseville <br /> located south of county load C, west of the Minnesota Transfer <br /> Railway right-of-war and north of the Burlington Northern <br /> Railro'ad right-of-way. The site, commonly known as the <br /> Ettinger property, is approximately 14 acres in size and is <br /> zoned 1- ,General Industrial. The M proposal includes <br /> demolishing a portion o f the existing hu i l d ing, reconfiguring <br /> and modifying .the appearance of that building and adding two <br /> off ice/warehouse facilities to the site. Total building square <br /> footage for the site is proposed to be 212 ,744 sq. ft, <br /> 2 The site under consideration is 14.38 acres in size and is <br /> zoned I-2 General Industrial. The Comprehensive Flan <br /> designation for this area is also industrial. The site is <br /> currently only partially developed. The west portion of the <br /> site contains a warehouse facility that was constructed in <br /> 1985; This facility is connected to the Ettinger True <br /> Terminal, which was constructed in the 1940#s; There is also <br /> a small service garage at the south end of the site. The east <br /> portion of the site is currently undeveloped.
