Recycling Fee <br /> A review has been made of the current recycling fee and we are recommending no increase for 1994. <br /> State Fee <br /> We have received no indication#hat the legislature will rescind the current $1.30 per quarter fee our <br /> residents are currently being assessed for water testing of outstate non-municipal water supplies. <br /> Meter Secuirly <br /> The current meter security deposits have not becn adjusted for several yew} and since the addition <br /> of other utilities and the state fee we are fmdi.ng the current amounts have home inadequate. we <br /> it <br /> are recommending adjustments as outlined on the attached Utility bate Schedule. <br /> Conclusion <br /> our goals in reviewing the 1994 proposed rates were (1) to improve the cost covering of the water <br /> operations, while absorbing the substantial rate increases of the MC and the St. Paul <br /> serer o <br /> and paura a and reward water conservation on <br /> Water bard during the past several years and (2) to enc g <br /> the part <br /> of our residents. we feel we can acheive bath of these goals by the changes recommended <br /> above. <br /> Attached is a copy of the proposed 1994 utility rate schedule <br /> will be prepared to resent this proposal for discussion at the November 15} 1993 Council work <br /> We wt p P <br /> session. <br />
