Residential Neighboffioods (ER) <br /> 1. Built to cater to life style/life cycle. <br /> 2. Mixed develODments of housing design. <br /> 3. Achieve level of safety for residents. <br /> 4. Green space is provided. <br /> 5. Community spirit is fostered. <br /> 6. Community aesthetics are controlled. <br /> 7. Community scale and compatibility are important. <br /> 8. Orientation to support neighborhood spirit. <br /> 9. Commercial/retail designed into the neighborhood, <br /> 10. H density is no# a goal of residential goals. <br /> 11. These changes will challenge the City on how to protect <br /> adjacent residential property values. <br /> B. The City should plan for the life cycle neighborhoods - should they <br /> be scattered/or in enclaves? (KW) <br /> We should plan for mixed development, multi-housing types, multi,- <br /> residents. Example: Townhouses and single family, open onto park <br /> or green space with church, school, neighborhood store, office <br /> adjacent with everything within working distance.
