5; From a land use perspective, it is important to note that this
site cannot handle a typical off--sale liquor facility* From a
parking perspective alone, there simply is not enough room.
This use, however, - seems . to be ancillary to the Brausen
Enterprises operation and would not impact the - site.
Therefore, it is staff's feeling that any approval should
include stipulations that the operation remain a mail order
business with no over-the-counter retail transactions taking
place.' We would also suggest that no s ignage be permitted and
that the special use permit be granted only for that period of
time that the liquor license is in effect.
6.0 The Planning Commission, on a 6-0 vote, unanimously recommended
approval of this request with the fallowing conditions:
a. To grant special use permits where it can be demonstrated that
the proposed use would not be detrimental to the general
health, safety, and welfare of the community.
Staff Recommendation:
l. As a mail order business, Select vintage is an ancillary use to
the Bra'usen Enterprises office at 2180 N. bale Street, It will
not be visible to the general public and will not impact the
use of the site, Therefore, staff recommends approval of Mr,
Brausen' s request for a spec'ial use permit for an off-sale
liquor establishment at 2180 NO Dale Street, subject to the
following stipulations:
a.
