This project was accepted by the state as
State Aid project 160-247-0 , Lincoln Drive.
As required by state guidelines for a roadway of this width, it is
necessary to prohibit parking on both sides for its entire length from
County Road C-2 to Lydia Avenue.
Financial implications: The cost for the construction of Lincoln Drive
is reimbursable by MSA funds. At the appropriate time, the city will
request reimbursement for its expenditures from MA. To qualify for
funds, work must meet MSA standards.
Schedule: The Mork is anticipated to start sometime in October of 1993
and should be completed in October.
Staff recommendation: since this project must meet the MSA
requirements for prohibition of parking, staff recommends city council
pass a resolution prohibiting parking on both sides of Lincoln Drive
from County Road C-2 to Lydia Avenue.
EECOI NDED COUNCIL ACTIOW&
Adoption of resolution prohibiting parking on both sides of Lincoln
Drive from County Road C-2 to Lydia Avenue.
