REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 4- 26-93 <br />ITEM NO e: 11 <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section <br />Reports and <br />29R C?Q Recommendations <br />Item Description: Cave & Associates Ltd. request for preliminary <br />and final plat at Western Avenue and South <br />Owasso Boulevard. <br />Back rou d: <br />10 In 1992, the City approved the division of a lot for Virginia <br />Tschida which she had sold to Cave & Associates. <br />2, Mr, Cave is now requesting that this piece of land be platted <br />into four single family lots. <br />The Planning Commission continued consideration of this <br />request until May 13 1993 to allow Mr. cave to meet with <br />Virginia Tschida to determine what her plans are for the <br />development of the remainder of the parcel. Howard bahlgren <br />had suggested in the past that the Tschida parcel, as well'as <br />the land that Mr. cave is proposing to subdivide, be <br />developed with access from a cul -de -sac coming into the <br />property from Farrington Avenue. 'This would he the preferred <br />arrangement for developing these parcel s . I f ir - however p Mrs. <br />Tschida is not ,willing to proceed with development of her <br />property at this point in time,- Mr. Cave has the right to <br />develop his property with access off of Western Avenue. <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />1+ It is recommended that the City Council continue <br />consideration o f this matter until May 24, 19 9 3 to allow the <br />property owners to have further discussions about the future <br />development of both parcels. <br />Council Action Re ested: <br />10 Motion to continue consideration of Cave & Associates Ltd. <br />request for preliminary plat at western Avenue and S. Owasso <br />Boulevard until May 24, 1993. <br />
