We received .five bids ranging from a <br />low of $968,216.60 to a high of $1g1251093o.88,o The engineer's- estimate. <br />for the work was $1,153,000o, The low ]yid submitted by To A. schifsky <br />and sons, Inc. is approximately 16 or $185,000 below the estimate. <br />This has been the trend for the past several years i The number of ]yids <br />received and the close ranee of bids indicate an extremely competitive <br />construction market.
