As noted the bid from Crysteel for the Johnston <br />sweeper does not meet specifications. The lowest responsible bidder <br />meeting the requirements of the specifications is ABM Equipment who has <br />specified a Mobil Athey H�10 -Ae <br />policy obj a ct ive s e. in purchasing equipment, we ukust follow the state <br />statute which requires - advertisement for bids if the purchase amount <br />exceeds $25,000. Accordingly, specifiost�cns have been prepared for the <br />required purchase and bids solicited* <br />Financial implications: Financing for the purchase of a new replacement <br />street sweeper has been allowed in the storm utility budget.
