L <br />An important feature of the proposed development would be to accommodate pedestrians <br />firom the new development, the College, and the surrounding neighborhood. There are <br />currently sidewalks along the south side of Lydia, the west side of Linclon Drive, one side <br />of Terrace Drive (altemating and souk), and along the frontage mad south of County <br />Road C -2 (Figure �. A pedestrian connection through the proper to connect these existing <br />sidewalks would be part of the new development, possibly inclining a trail along the ditch. <br />According to the tr portation consultant, the intersection at Lydia with the extension of <br />Lincoln eve would not warrant a traffic signal when first alt. Future consideration of a <br />signal or other traffic control feature would depend on the level of traffic, the number of <br />pedesftlans., and any safety problems that might arise. <br />moose Existing <br />Sidewalks <br />Paul Sentman, representing College yes, Inc., and the project architect, Peter Pfister, <br />presented a more detailed summary College proposal, with scale models of potential <br />layouts.
